Our Journey
Eletrunk® was founded by husband and wife duo Kosta and Christine, two Australians who wanted to create a product that blended wellness, functionality and intentional design into everyday life.
Like many people, we found ourselves constantly buying water bottles that either leaked, felt cheaply made, looked overly sporty, or simply did not fit seamlessly into modern daily living. We wanted something different. A bottle that felt premium enough for the gym, stylish enough for cafés and travel, and practical enough to carry every single day.
But Eletrunk® became about far more than aesthetics.
During a summer trip along the Australian coastline, we began reflecting on how disconnected modern life had become from simple healthy habits. People were constantly exhausted, dehydrated, overstimulated, and placing convenience ahead of wellbeing. We realised something so essential to health — drinking water consistently — had become overlooked.
That conversation sparked the beginning of Eletrunk®. We started researching the role hydration plays in energy, focus, recovery, skin health, physical performance and overall wellbeing. The more we learned, the more we realised hydration is one of the foundations of feeling your best.
In nature, water is protected, prioritised and deeply valued.
At the same time, we became fascinated by elephants and their instinctive relationship with water. Elephants travel vast distances to locate water sources, remembering them for years and guiding their families towards them for survival and wellbeing.
That philosophy inspired both our name and our mission. “Ele” represents the elephant, while “Trunk” symbolises both the elephant’s trunk and the idea of carrying what matters most. Eletrunk® was born from the belief that hydration should feel intentional, not like an afterthought.
